Smoke Alarm Safety
1. Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, including inside bedrooms and outside sleeping areas. 2. Test your smoke alarms monthly to ensure they are functioning properly.
3. Replace the batteries at least once a year, and replace the entire smoke alarm every10 years.
4. Create and practice a fire escape plan with your family, ensuring everyone knows how to respond in case of an alarm. Stay safe!

Carbon Monoxide Safety
1. Install carbon monoxide detectors on every level of your home and check them regularly to ensure they are functioning properly.
2. Never use a gas range or to heat your home, and avoid running a vehicle an attached garage, even with the door open.
3. Schedule regular maintenance for your heating systems, water heaters, and any gas appliances to prevent leaks.
4. Be aware of the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, which can include headaches, dizziness, and confusion. If you suspect CO exposure, evacuate immediately and call for help.
